Where Do You Sit?

In Church? Are you a 'Right Sider', a 'Mid-sectioner' or a 'Left Sider'?

This question came to mind because today, for the first time ever in the time we've attended our current church, we sat in a different section of chairs!

Earth shattering, no?

OK. So it's not earth shattering, but it did make me think a bit about why we sit where we sit and why we don't ever change where we sit.

Growing up, we were 'Right Side, Mid-section' Baptists. Not 'Back-row' Baptists, so that was a good thing, right?

Now we're 'Right Side, wherever we can find a seat because we're always late because the nursery line is so long' Non-denominationals.

I think it's interesting how our comfort zones leak into even the most comfortable, love-filled places. Like Church.

Maybe next week, we'll really branch out and sit on the left!
