I'm just a little shocked that it's Thursday. I'm not sure what happened to Wednesday.
Moving on.
For all you who are desperate to know, I think Fall may officially be thinking about possibly, maybe, perhaps dropping by our neck of the woods sometime in the next month.
I have this on strict authority from the weather guy, Sean. Not that weather guys typically know what they're talking about, but still.
On Monday, The Pickle and I left our house to go to Chickenburg at 10:20 a.m., it was a cool 95 with a brisk breeze. Upon arriving in Chickenburg, my handy mirror/thermometer declared it was only 91. Honestly, that's nearly t-shirt weather. You know, as opposed to tank-top weather.
It seems Fall may actually be coming and I'm feeling a little guilty for doubting Nature.
So, Nature, please forgive me for doubting you. I can understand that after covering over 2/3 of the country in crisp, cool breezes and painting all those beautiful colors on the leaves there, you must be feeling a little sluggish.
I'll wait.
But, please hurry.
I'm tired of being hot.
