Dog breeders? Breed developers? Who are the people who do these things?

Look at our poor little Lucy Girl:

What is with her tongue? Did the breed developer people just not know how to breed a shorter tongue for a shorter snout? Did they think this was funny? I just don't get it. Do you?

Another view . . . it always seems to hang out. And drip. Everywhere. You should see her drink. Eeeew!

First it's that freakishly long tail. Now an unnaturally long tongue. What's next?
