I brought in five tiny (like the size of a nickel, tiny) radishes and proudly showed J. He looked at me with a mixture of confusion and humor and said, "Don't you think you should have left them to grow a bit longer?"
Yeah, I suppose I should have, but, dang-it, I wanted to pick something! I've had plants growing since the third week in February! It's hard to keep waiting . . .
In other news, we've had a quiet week here on the home front.
- Lots of playing outside while the mornings are still cool-ish.
- Lots of picking Bermuda grass out of the garden. UGH!
- Lots of spraying little black sap sucker bugs off the willow tree and aphids off the roses.
- Lots of Dominoes and Lincoln Logs.
